ANCIENT-NEW PRAYER

You, O God, know the name and age of each,
you have known each one from their mother's womb.
For You, O Holy, Holy and Almighty, Holy and Immortal One,
are the Helper of the helpless,
the Righter of wrong-doings,
the Savior of the tempest-tossed,
the Harbor of voyagers,
the Physician of the sick,
the Comforter of those in turmoil,
the Wisdom of those in confusion,
the Faith of those in unknowing,
the Hope of the desperate,
the Love of those beyond lovable:
become all things to all people and to all your creation,
for You, O God,know each of us and every one of our needs,
each house and its necessity.
Preserve, O Holy, Holy and Mighty, Holy and Immortal One,
this city and every city and country place from
plague, famine, earthquake, flood, fire, war, battle, invasion and riot.
May all be in peace, safety, honor, health, long life, living the word of your truth.
Blessed is God, and Blessed is God's Kin-Dom,
now and forever.
